1. What this is
A free, non-commercial app for the spiritual edification of users. It offers Bible reading, access to historic Reformed catechisms, confessions, and creeds, and AI-assisted explanations of those texts.
2. Account
You sign in with Google. By signing in you confirm you are at least 13 (or 16 in jurisdictions requiring it) and agree to these Terms.
3. AI content disclaimer
The app uses AI to generate commentary on Bible passages, modern-language paraphrases of historic confessions, and study notes. AI output may be incorrect or theologically imprecise. AI output is not authoritative; it is provided to help your study. Always weigh AI output against Scripture, the historic confessions in their original form, and the teaching of your local church elders.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to extract or scrape large portions of Bible or library content for redistribution; some content is shared under specific licenses.
- Do not use the AI features to generate content for purposes other than your own study.
- Do not attempt to compromise the service, other users’ accounts, or third-party providers.
5. Intellectual property
- App code: provided as-is.
- Bible translations and historic creed/confession texts: governed by their own licenses.
- AI-generated commentary and paraphrases: ownership is contested in many jurisdictions; we treat them as freely usable for your personal, non-commercial study.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI output or the continuous availability of the service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, XView is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
